Hairhub Trichology Centre started with one trichologist, one trichoscope and a lot of people who had been told their hair loss was "just stress". It is now a full clinic on Ngong Road with a surgical team, a proper operating room and patients who come from across East Africa.
We do one thing. We find out why your hair is falling out, we tell you in words you understand. Then we treat the actual cause. Sometimes that is a transplant. Sometimes it is PRP. Sometimes it is iron tablets and a looser braid. You always know which one and why.

Muli Musyoka
Founder and lead trichologist, C.T., I.A.T
Muli did not plan to spend his life looking at scalps. He grew up in Machakos wanting to play football. Then he grew an afro after school, a modelling agent noticed it. Hair quietly took over.
He trained as a hairdresser in Nairobi, worked for a hair care manufacturer travelling across East Africa. He kept meeting people whose hair loss nobody could explain. So he went to Sydney and trained with the International Association of Trichologists. He came back as the first I.A.T certified trichologist in East and Central Africa.
Since then he has lectured at trichology forums in Houston, Melbourne, Hobart, Washington DC and Canada. He was named in Business Daily Top 40 Under 40 in 2014 and featured in Hairy Tales, a book profiling the top 54 trichologists in the world. He founded the Afro Hair Awards in 2015 to lift the standards of hairdressing in Kenya.
In the clinic he is the person who puts your scalp under the trichoscope, explains what he sees in plain words and tells you honestly whether you need treatment, surgery or just a looser hairstyle.

Dr. Dindi Keith
Hair transplant surgeon
Dr. Dindi is the reason the hairlines on this site look like they were born there and not drawn with a ruler.
He trained at the Moi University School of Medicine and then at the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine in Pune, India. He was the first surgeon to perform FUE hair transplants in the region.
His particular interest is transplant surgery on African patients, whose curly follicles need a different hand from the straight hair most of the world trains on. He is also a painter. He brings the same eye to a hairline: direction, density, the way it should soften at the temples.
He operates with a full surgical team, in a proper theatre. He tells you if he does not think surgery is right for you yet.

Celestine Gitau
Trichologist and hair transplant technician
Celestine started as a nurse, which is why she is the calmest person in the room on surgery day.
She became a hair transplant technician in 2017 and has now worked on over 500 transplants, with a particular skill in extracting and placing follicles in Afro textured hair. She trained in trichology with the International Association of Trichologists in Australia and also works in cosmetic chemistry, advising hair care brands on their formulas.
In 2019 she won the International Association of Trichologists article writing award. In 2021 she spoke at the World Trichology Society virtual summit on hair transplants for Afro and ethnic hair. She tutors at the Institute of Trichologists and reviews papers for a surgery journal.
In the clinic she is the one most likely to tell you which product in your bathroom is the problem and why.

How we work
Three rules we do not break.
Assessment first, always
Nobody gets a treatment plan before a trichoscope has looked at their scalp. If the problem is a tight weave, we say so and send you home with advice.
Plain words
Trichology has a lot of long words. We use them because the certificates say so, then we translate every one. If something confuses you, that is on us.

Every before and after on this site is a Hairhub patient who agreed to be shown. No stock pictures, no photos from clinics abroad.
